@Dynomike03 My laptop can do the exact same thing! Laptops with this feature is something I highly recommend for artists and animators like us.
I remember how freeing it felt when I got my computer to that isn't monitored and that I'm entirely in charge of. No more screentime limits, or family link.

lolol I'm also going to get a ton of stuff for art and music along with animation, I plan on regaining animate, trying out blender, using KRITA for art, and trying out garageband and FL studio for music :o (also for some reason ultrabox and beepbox were blocked on the chromebook but Jummbox wasn't but now I can access all three LMAOOO)

So how much better is it compared to the school laptop?
Millions of times! I now have access to many better softwares that I was incapable of getting on the school chromebook, such as Premier pro, GIMP (I HAVE GIIIIMPPPPPPPP!!!), FL Studio (I'll purchase that sometime later), Animate, etc, I have a bigger screen to work with, MUCH more storage data, A TOUCH SCREEN LESGOOOOOOOOOOO, and I can finally re-access methods of YT-MP3 converting so that I may get audio on my own again :DDDD
Your laptop sounds much better than the one I own (doesn’t have a touch screen but it much better than the regular school laptop)
mine was like $830-ish and I paid for it with my salary, I went out of my way, since it was my choice, to find a laptop SPECIFICALLY capable of the things I needed as an artist/animator/music maker/game designer/all of the above. this laptop is for my personal use and is suited for my needs specifically

That's awesome man! Chromebook is so ass you can legally hunt and shoot them in some states. (That's a joke you all can laugh now.)
I must ask, is it the type of Laptop that can flip past a 180 degree angle? I see the two little hinges below the screen that mine also has which allows it do that. I find it so much easier to make digital art with that and a stylus. (I lost my stylus though so I'm limited to just mouse rn. ;-;)

it indeed has a completely flippable screen, and it's TOUCHSCREEN so you can treat it like a tablet! Plus, I can get back access to all the stuff I wanted back on my laptop and MORE now, since this isn't monitored, and my computer has WAYYY more storage!
